About Lee Hall Depot
The historic Lee Hall Depot was constructed in the 1880s.
The depot is the only remaining station on the lower
Virginia Peninsula from the C&O Railroad's expansion
into Warwick County. The City of Newport News is preparing
to relocate the depot across the tracks and off CSX property.

The Lee Hall Depot is located at the corner of Elmhurst Street and Warwick Boulevard (Route 60) in Newport News' Lee Hall Village.
  • From I-64 West, take Exit 247. Turn left onto Yorktown Road
    and right onto Elmhurst Street.

  • From I-64 East, take Exit 247. Turn right onto Yorktown Road
    and right onto Elmhurst Street.

Visitors are not yet able to access the depot's interior.
As the building sits between two sets of railroad tracks,
visitors should take care in viewing the depot.
